The Tri Smart Masters program provides organized workouts, clinics and workshops for adults aged 18 and over. The programs is open to all adult swimmers (fitness, triathlete, competitive, non-competitive) who are dedicated to improving their fitness through swimming.
Workous are every Mon Wed and Fri at 8:30am and Tue and Thu from 8:30-9:30pm at The Lemont Park District's The CORE.
WINTER SESSION - January 2, 2012 - April 30, 2012.
The Lactate Threshold (LT) test is critical to maximum performance. By properly identifying your training zones, maximum benefit can be derived by creating training plans utilizing these zones, particularly for endurance racing. Athlete can choose to have this test done on a bike or treadmill. Training zones for running and biking are different, so it is recommended to have an LT test done in each discipline.

Whether you are new to cycling or triathlon, or if you’re an experienced athlete just looking to improve your skills and technique on the bike, please join us for a two-part workshop designed to help you be more knowledgeable and comfortable in your cycling endeavors!

Swimming is one of those sports that requires proper
technique to show any marked improvement. Whether you are a beginner swimmer or have been swimming all your life, individual instruction is one of the most effective ways to improve your swimming technique.
Five 45-minute sessions.
Tri Smart Coaching's 12 week triathlon training program will teach you all the basic skills of triathlon
and how to put them together on race day. Participants will meet 3 times per week for group training and will be given a daily schedule detailing suggested workouts to achieve our race day goals.

This hands-on clinic was developed to help answer questions on what to do and what not to do during your transitions in your races. Most athletes overlook this very critical part of training and racing and it can cause anxiety and confusion when going into transitions unprepared.
